The Cincinnati Bengals announced Friday that they have signed veteran linebacker Aaron Maybin. Terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.
This will be Maybin’s third team since being selected by the Bills as the No. 11 pick in the 2009 draft. After an unimpressive stint with the Bills, Maybin caught on with the Jets in 2011 and compiled six sacks as a situational pass rusher.
Maybin, 24, joins a Bengals defense that finished this season with 51 sacks, just one behind the Denver Broncos and St. Louis Rams for the most in the NFL. He adds depth to a sack happy Bengal defense.
